Our Story
For many years, Dozens Restaurant was a beloved breakfast spot in Aurora. One of its longtime customers, Don Hicks, enjoyed the food, staff, and welcoming atmosphere for years. When Dozens decided to close, Don’s favorite breakfast place would disappear along with the people he knew for generations, so he purchased the concept with the goal of finding it a new home.
Soon after, he found Fatboys Sports Bar & Grill, a neighborhood favorite that had been successfully serving the community for over 35 years under the leadership of Janet Walker. As Janet began a new chapter of her life, the timing was right, and the restaurant was sold.
With a vision to continue both traditions, Don partnered with Wesley Wacker, a seasoned and very successful restaurateur to operate and grow the restaurant.
Today, the result is Dozens – Fatboys Sports Bar & Grill, where the breakfast traditions of Dozens meet the long-standing legacy of Fatboys.
We’re proud to serve the community and continue both stories under one roof.
The Legend of Fatboys

These beliefs are practiced at FATBOY's Sports Bar and Grill. ALL DAY EVERYDAY. From the Fat portions we serve to the fast, friendly service, and Great Values.
